Can you use Armor All in engine bay?
a perfectly clean and dry engine bay is best for not attracting dust. protectants like armor all wont do a whole lot for the engine bay besides maybe keep the hoses a little more rubbery, youll have to paint on some protectants on areas or if theres heavy duty clear protectants for engines then maybe that will work.

So what’s so bad about using Armor All on your dashboard, tires, or other rubber, vinyl, and plastic surfaces? Nothing. The confusion is Armor All uses water-based silicone emulsions but does not use petroleum distillates. It’s safe.

It’ll attract dust, but not right away, it stays clean for quite a while! Just make sure you at least wipe it off after a while….but keeps the hoses perfect(no cracking will ever occur) and the plastics shiny! Just don’t spray directly onto your alternator and you’re set.

use any commercial engine degreaser. hose it off. Let it dry. for the raw aluminum parts like the intake you can use “MAG Wheel cleaner” to get out stubborn grease/oil spots.
Can you use tire shine in engine bay?
