When fully cured, J-B Weld is completely resistant to water, gasoline, and about every other petroleum product or automotive chemical. For wet-surface or submerged water or gasoline repairs, try our SteelStik or WaterWeld.
How much psi can epoxy hold?
By comparison Epoxy.com Product #10 Epoxy Mortar has a compressive strength of 10,000 PSI (about 3 times that of standard concrete) but Product #10 Epoxy Mortar has a tensile strength of 3,500 psi (at least 10 time stronger than concrete).
Can J-B Weld be applied in layers?
JB Weld can be applied in layers. Just clean the surface thoroughly, apply the JB welding, and wait at least 8 hours to re-apply. When applying additional layers, it’s important to wait to apply until the first application is fixed.
